I was born in Fullerton CA but raised in Costa Rica until I was 17. I come from a creative family. My mother and her mother where self taught painters. I was interested in art since I was 7 years old. I learned in school but also discovered my own style. I studied academic arts but not being too in-tune with the lack of creativity, I decided to move forward on my own. Growing up in Costa Rica molded my world view and my art style. I started painting dreams and nightmares at 20 years old and since then I have develop a style and concept unique to myself.

Stylized surrealistic illustration, usually human figure and mostly woman but not exclusively.My desire is to represent culture and social-political issues as well as psychological issues. Also the power of woman in history and as they make history.I appreciate making paintings that express family values, memories and emotional symbolism.
